- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Went to Midwest Dental in Feb 2016. Had a cleaning for the special introductory price. The cleaning was professional and the office staff was nice. At the end of my appointment, I was told I needed 4 root canals and 8 fillings. A few days after the appointment I ended up with strep throat. Interesting nobody was sick in my household and I haven't had strep throat since I was a kid. It did make me wonder if I got the infection from my dental cleaning. I decided to get another opinion about my mouth from another dentist.. The second opinion dentist told me I needed zero root canals and needed 6 fillings. Interesting that this clinic offers root canal therapy and they don't refer people to an endodontist.June 20, 2017by Melissa Santamaria
